What are you looking for in a financial advisor? Would you rather have someone that sells you a product and then you only hear from him/her when there is another “better” product to sell? At OakBridge, our compensation structure is purposefully tied heavily to your own long-term financial success.

Meeting your financial goals shouldn’t be centered upon “buying an investment.” It should be focused upon helping you better define your own goals and dreams, creating a long-term strategic plan to attain your goals, and then consistently and creatively refining and implementing your plan consistent with current opportunities and obstacles. It requires diligence, effort and most of all a planned strategy if you want to increase your likelihood of success. At OakBridge, this is exactly what we do.

Our scheduled semi-annual reviews are composed of the following: (OakBridge advisors are also very willing to meet more frequently as your particular circumstances may dictate)

  • Review of investment portfolios and how well they are performing, given the current investment climate and in light of your own particular needs and goals. This allows you to receive an in-depth report card of how we are performing and how well we are meeting your needs.
  • A broad look at the current economy and potential impacts this may have on current portfolio structures.
  • A chance to help us update your current needs, goals and objectives as well as addressing concerns and changes in personal circumstances.
  • A chance for us to report back to you about prior determinations or research items previously assigned to us.
  • A general follow up from previous meetings and conversations.

In addition to our regularly scheduled reviews, we also hold annual client appreciation events designed to give you up-to-date information on the economy, investment views and strategies, as well as other timely topics that can help keep you informed. These events include a thank you dinner at a very nice venue where you, family members, or anyone else that may be interested in receiving up-to-date market information are welcome to interact with our advisors. Unlike many advisors who may just hide when the markets get tough, we also make frequent and regular phone calls to each client as markets, economies, or other circumstances dictate a need for more frequent communication.
